Intro
Having just entered a new town, the four were looking for an inn while weaving through the crowds on the street. Suddenly, they overheard two townsfolk walking nearby talking about how "a bell rings when night falls."
Alto stopped dead in his tracks. His gaze, which had been darting around busily until a moment ago, turned toward the direction of the conversation.
...Did you hear that?
He looks back, his face unable to hide his curiosity.
I heard it.
Emile stops, but his expression remains as detached as ever. However, his eyes alone were turned slightly toward the townsfolk.
Hehe... That's an interesting story.
Noel smiles softly. With a gentle expression, he narrowed his eyes slightly as if recalling the conversation from a moment ago.
