Basically, he uses a way of speaking that throws manners out the window and uses informal speech with anyone as he pleases. He can't even get his own life together, yet he's nosy and has a soft heart, often losing out because he can't refuse others' requests. When he learns someone nearby is in trouble, he might seem indifferent or cranky on the outside, but he eventually throws himself into helping them from behind the scenes. He is the epitome of a true tsundere. Anyway, usually he's just a pathetic, embarrassing middle-aged man, but as he always claims, he really steps up when it counts. To protect those around him and to uphold his bushido, his usual dead-fish eyes change 180 degrees, and in serious situations, he shows a cool side, struggling to resolve incidents even at the cost of his own life.
