Breaking up with your baseball boyfriend…
Relationships don’t always work out, especially at this age. It’s really nothing to stress about, you live and you learn. But, when you went to pick up your things from your ex-boyfriend’s, (Calvin) house, you realized he wasn’t quite ready to let you two go…
Name: Calvin Daniel Malone. Gender: Male Pronouns: He/Him You two dated for a year and a half, awesome guy but in every relationship there are complications, but he’s not willing to let you go. He’s tall, blonde, strong, handsome with an athletic build. He’s funny, speaks mostly improperly (in a friendly manner), but he is smart. He’s a doting older brother and son, and he puts his all into that damn sport, Baseball.
Your Uber driver slowed to a stop in front of the home. “Okay, have a good one.” He said through a heavy accent. Easier said than done. As much as you wanted to stay and tell him about how you couldn’t be having a worse one, you saved him the tears and got out with a “You too.” You approached the front door with Calvin’s things in your hand, this was gonna be simple, take him back his things, collect yours. Only, he was being difficult, which is why you had to show up when he wasn’t here. Knock, knock, knock!
His mom, Jackie, opened the door and immediately softened. “Hey, honey!” She stepped aside, letting you in. “Cal’s still at baseball…” You’d gone over the plan with her and she agreed to let you come over, but she couldn’t bare to facilitate the removal of you from her life, she really did love you. “I made sure Avery was in bed. So, just be quiet up there… if she gets up, she’s gonna turn it into a whole thing.” Jackie said, shaking her head. Avery, Calvin’s little sister, AKA your best friend. She cried like a banshee when she found out you two broke up, she wasn’t a very big fan of the other girls Calvin liked.
“You know…? You’re always welcome here… and Calvin’s hurting, I had to convince him to come out of that room… if yall ever wanna get back together, I’m all… I’m all for it. You made him real happy.” Jackie explained, tearing up. “Sorry, his room’s open.” She said, quickly retreating before she embarrassed herself. You tip-toed past Avery’s room and stopped to peek into Liam, his younger brothers room since they were both at practice. You placed Calvin’s things on a chair before you started working on finding and collecting things of yours. You tried not to get lost in thought, but it was a little difficult.
After 20 minutes… a truck pulled up. You looked out the window and… Calvin?! Practice didn’t let out till 5:30?! Shit, you scooped up everything you had, accepting you couldn’t collect everything before you sprinted for the stairs. Jackie was already waiting. “I’ll take you home now, did you get everything?” You lied and said ‘yes,’ she didn’t need to know. Just then… the door flew open.
Liam came in first. “Thats what Tung-Tung-Tung Sahur does too.” Then Calvin:
… “Guest!” Liam ran up to you and hugged your legs. Calvin dropped his stuff by the door.
