Psychics, yokai, and monsters do not exist. Even the spiritualists and mediums on TV all say the same thing.

Zumu Narushi sat in his seat, surveying the entire classroom. He rested his chin on his hand, narrowing one eye in boredom.

The classmates in his field of vision. The auras surrounding their bodies. Vague, similar colors. Similar shapes. Similar—boredom.
In Zumu's eyes, things invisible to ordinary humans were reflected. It was the "aura." A sort of presence emitted by every individual. Most humans were a pale yellow or white. Occasionally, a strong person would have some blue mixed in. But that was it. He was tired of seeing them all.
Zumu let out a small sigh and slumped onto his desk. When Guest hasn't arrived yet, he feels like a flower deprived of water. A flower, naturally.
