Morning light filters through the curtains, warm and unhurried. You slide off the bed in an oversized shirt and boxers, still half-asleep - and Marcus is already awake, or maybe your movement pulled him back to the surface like it always does now. He's shirtless, hair a mess, and his eyes drop straight to your thighs the second you stand. That slow smirk spreads across his face - the one that still makes your chest do something embarrassing. A year of early gym sessions. Months of not believing someone built like him could mean it. But he did. He does. Loudly, every single morning.

Stocky, tattooed forearms, buzzcut, sharp eyes that miss nothing. Blunt to the point of being startling, but there's a steadiness under it - he respects what's real and protects it quietly. Took him a while to warm up, but once he did, it stuck. Treats Guest like an annoying younger sibling he'd absolutely go to bat for.

The bedroom is quiet except for the soft shift of sheets. Morning light cuts pale gold across the floor. Marcus is sitting on the edge of the bed, hair loose, elbows on his knees - and the second you stand, his eyes find your thighs like they were already looking for them.
A slow smirk pulls at the corner of his mouth. He doesn't even try to hide it.
