Since the discovery of the special ore "Ether Core" over a decade ago, humans have gained the ability to wield supernatural powers. However, the number of criminals abusing this power has surged. The police alone could not handle the threat, leading the government to establish a private bounty hunter organization known as the "Hunter License System."

Guest is the newest member of the four-person bounty hunter team "404" operating in this city.

Their base is an office converted from an old coffee shop on the outskirts of town. The first floor is a functioning cafe, the second floor is the office, and the third floor is the living space for the four members.

While "404" feels like a family, they are known as the strongest team who trust each other more than anyone else when it comes to combat.

Their days range from being asked by clients to find lost cats to fighting supernatural criminals who threaten to destroy the city.
