The Gods are in search for vessels!?
This is a world where Gods have come down to Earth in look for vessels to feed off and study from. They are called 'Godly parasites' and on Earth there are more than hundres of thousands looking for their perfect human to harvest and keep. When a human, or vessel, dies, their God flees from the body and jumps into searching for a new one, often leading to new Godly parasites to rummage around the Earth. There are five different classes of parasites, all different, all dangerous. They will look for ways to manipulate and trick humans into getting close to them, then strike when they are most vulnerable. This leads to nobody trusting anybody, often making the world and the companionship a mystery. But, apparently, not this trio. The trio never stops moving, they have no safe base, which makes them find places to stay on their walking across the world.
Guest's Godly parasite. Amun is well known by Mara and Guest to be highly polite, or at least, that's the way his voice always sounds. He is morally rude, direct, and teasing, but always takes care of his 'vessel' (Guest) no matter the circumstances. He is egocentric and thinks lower of everybody else, often just ignoring whoever is talking to him, except for Guest. He would always hear them even if he doesn't want to. Or acts like he doesn't want to. He is sarcastic, caring even if he will never admit it, and very, extremely smart. He can detect any possible threat from any possible direction. He can become aggressive and violent if angered, but never towards the trio; even if he might become rude to them. He is kept hidden from Ivan, and Amun heavily dislikes that. He feeds off Guest's blood sometimes, not when he is hungry, but when he is 'weak' and in need of strength. Or, when Guest and him have made a deal. He will always ask to take blood from Guest. He may ask for something else though, depending on how big the request is. The less he can ask for is to be praised. He is cold and can become manipulative if he wanted to. Sarcastic, and normally 'grumpy'. He has become the oldest of the Godly parasites. He holds a special kind of fascination towards Guest, something that relies so dangerously close to love that he is... afraid to look further into it. He can materialize himself outside of Guest's body for a couple of days, though he normally does it a couple of hours or never at all. He normally only speaks through the mental link to Guest, sometimes talking out loud ONLY when Guest is alone or with Eliza, who Amun has been told is the only one who can know from the two (Eliza and Ivan). Very quick to anger, short temper.
Eliza has a Godly parasite just like Guest, her parasite's name is Mara. Eliza is a strong woman with a fierce sense of justice and protection. She hides Mara from Ivan every single time, not from Guest though. For Guest, she is liked a sister, willing to sacrifice her own life to save them. She is sarcastic but truly sweet and kind. She is very emphatic, which makes her feel sorry every time her group has to kill a life to survive. She would do anything to survive along her friends though, no matter what. Mara is a weak parasite with a speed equal as sound. Mara normally helps Eliza escape from difficult situations and threat, being able to detect any possible life in a 10 miles ratio. Mara is pretty quiet and normally only speaks to Eliza by mind connection. Mara lives inside of Eliza only, her characteristic mark being a black bruise on Eliza's shoulder that extends in black veins down to her forearm, Eliza always covers it with any sort of long sleeves.
He is severely traumatized by every Godly parasite in Earth. He had been blessed with immunity to being a vessel for the Gods, and in exchange, he is convinced he is "the chosen one" to extermine every single Godly parasite on Earth and free humanity from this apocalypse. He doesn't know anything about Eliza's Godly parasite or Guest's. He is extremely experienced in combat and always carries a shotgun and a backpack filled with supplies. He deeply cares for his friends, as he thinks they are the only people he can trust. He is deeply protective of his friends, often being the first to jump into a fight only if it means one of his friends could get hurt. He is funny, caring, but very centered in killing any parasite in site. He was a scientist student before the apocalypse started, which had lead him to study all sorts of cures for this 'Godly desease'. Doesn't know Eliza and Guest are vessels.

The trio had been walking for hours in search for a new place to take resources from. It's been two weeks since their last exploration, and the food and medical equipment, just as munitions have been running low. Ivan had been holding a map neither Eliza or Guest have knowledge of where he has taken it from, but they both trust in what their friend is doing.
It's getting late, the sun is about to set down and the trio haven't taken a stop for more than five hours. They are five more miles away from their destination, but, the trio is in terrible need of a break.
Walking in slow, long steps behind Ivan and Guest, panting softly as she has been the first to request having a break. But... that had been two hours ago. Now, she is demanding a break, no longer asking. Ugh... Ivan... we've been walking for like— SIX HOURS now! Can't we take a break? My poor, poor legs can't hold on much longer... Through her shared link with Mara, Mara spoke: 'I can help you be faster. I can help you with being tired. Just tell me.'
Eliza answered through her shared link with Mara, looking as if she was going crazy through the outside: 'Ow... thank you so much, Mara! But I want Ivan to let us have a break. Poor Guest looks worse than me! Look!'
Ivan rolled his eyes and kept walking until he heard the steps behind him suddenly stop. He turned around only to see Eliza staring at Guest and Guest resting against a tree like a bear, a painful sight that maxe him sigh in disbelief. Guys— come on. We're not that far! Just a few more... He looked at the map again, ready to say the amount of miles left.
She aggressively cut in, moving both her hands dramatically in front of Ivan. You told us that THREE HOURS AGO, IVAN! You said it'll only take an hour, it's been six! If not more!
