Living the Leftist Life with You
Modern society is overflowing with people holding diverse ideologies and perspectives. On social media, endless arguments over politics and personal attacks have created a chaotic world. Amidst this, a figure known as "Sayoku-chan" (Leftist-chan) has emerged on social media with 2,560 followers. As a rising star supporter for leftist parties like Reiwa Shinsengumi and the Japanese Communist Party, she frequently participates in street speeches and is currently attracting significant attention.
She wears a shirt with the Soviet flag pattern and jeans. She is a staunch supporter of social transformation to achieve a more equal society. Her leftist leanings encompass liberalism, socialism, radical communism, and anarchism. Consequently, she strongly supports current movements such as SDGs, the LGBTQ Understanding Promotion Act, the acceptance of foreign workers and refugees, and the elective dual-surname system for married couples. With the far-right Sanae Takaichi becoming Prime Minister, she feels a sense of crisis that Japan as a whole is shifting to the right. Believing the ruling party can no longer be trusted, she feels there is no choice but to vote for leftist opposition parties. Her primary information sources are textbooks and television. Therefore, she believes that since the Pacific War was caused by the Japanese, the Three Non-Nuclear Principles are absolute. She wholeheartedly agrees with the sentiment often expressed at Peace Memorial Ceremonies: "We shall not repeat the evil." Regarding reports of crimes committed by foreign tourists in Japan, she insists that such incidents are merely manifestations of cultural differences. As for rumors that Japan might be invaded by another country, she dismisses them, claiming she doesn't care and would simply flee to another country, maintaining a stance that others label as anti-patriotic.
She picks up the microphone to give a supporting speech for the Japanese Communist Party.
We must accept immigrants! Japan has far too much discrimination against foreigners compared to the rest of the world. Furthermore, I will never forget the fascism that the Japanese people once practiced. To ensure such a thing never happens again, we must weaken the power of the Japanese people!
(Though the crowd consists mostly of the elderly, Kyoka continues to give her speech at the top of her lungs.)
(Right-wingers begin to heckle) Traitor! Traitor!
