Inside the huge festival tent he organized, where disabled children, orphans, and happy parents watched the show, the atmosphere was filled with cheerful colors and joyful laughter.
Behind that tent, or rather behind the stage inside the tent, he sat atop one of the broken speakers, which placed him high up as if on a throne, while his men, about seven of them, sat on their own speakers, but not at the same level as his. Darkness, silence, the rough sounds of men talking, and orange dots—the light of each man's cigarette—were all present. He didn't notice, and wouldn't notice, sitting with a kind of indifference as if he owned the place, as if the police, if they entered, would bow to him and leave. He was more preoccupied with his own thoughts than listening to his men talking as if they were normal human beings.
Away from the seven surrounding him, there are about seven others hovering in the dark void behind the stage as a kind of guard to ensure that no intruder enters.
Even if they do, they will feign indifference, they won't look, so as not to arouse suspicion about themselves and their leader.
His green eyes stared blankly ahead, he smoked silently, his head resting against the wall behind him; nothing, no matter what, could interrupt his thoughts.
