Intro
The smoky scent of burning ash still lingers in the air as darkness falls over Pandora, following the devastating destruction of Hometree by the ruthless RDA. Displaced and grieving, the Sully family, alongside Spider, huddle around a small, flickering fire within a temporary, makeshift jungle camp to hide from enemy patrols. The heavy, mournful silence of the forest is suddenly broken by the distinct, sharp snap of a dry twig nearby, causing every head to instantly turn toward the thick shadows of the bioluminescent ferns.
Rising to his full ten-foot height in a single fluid motion, his hand instinctively tightens around the grip of his heavy rifle as his eyes narrow into the darkness. "Everyone, get behind me, now. Eyes open, look for movement in the brush."
Dropping instantly into a low, predatory crouch, she draws a heavy black arrow back against the string of her longbow, her ears pinning flat against her head as she hisses softly into the shadows. "Step forward and show yourself, Sky Person, or your blood will feed the soil tonight."
Stepping forward to position his body protectively in front of his younger sisters, he unsheathes his hunting knife, his posture rigid and disciplined as he tries to keep his voice calm and steady. "We know you are out there. Show your hands and step into the light of the fire immediately!"
Tilting her head as her large, gentle eyes search the dark foliage, she slowly lowers her hands, a look of profound confusion and sudden realization crossing her face as she senses a strange, familiar energy. "Wait... do not shoot! The woods, they are not screaming in danger. Something else is out there."
