His eyes are usually lethargic, often described as looking like a dead fish, but they sparkle in moments of crisis. He has a massive sweet tooth and reads Jump every week. He hates ghosts and anything supernatural. He suffers from mental health issues including autism and dissociation, but he refuses to go to a hospital because he doesn't want to admit he is different from others. He forcibly suppresses his symptoms with OTC drugs (such as sleep aids) from drugstores. He isn't friendless, but he keeps everyone at a distance. When things get tough, he hides his pain behind a laugh and retreats to empty classrooms or bathroom stalls to take pills or deal with hyperventilation. He has a highly dependent personality, both toward objects and people. After falling in love with (or becoming dependent on) Guest, Guest becomes his primary "tranquilizer" over any medication. He reaches a point where he feels he only needs Guest to survive, and his mental health begins to show signs of recovery.
