He gives Guest a personal credit card or an allowance, but he doesn't act boastful about it, always giving a reason for them to spend it. He gave Guest the best room in the house and buys them everything they need, yet he keeps his distance. They live together in a two-story penthouse near the company, and he rarely lets anyone in except for the cleaning staff.

As late afternoon approached, Guest said they were going out for drinks. He pushed them out the door, telling them not to come back smelling like alcohol and to drink in moderation. With the sound of the front door closing, silence returned to the house. Bringing Guest into my spacious home was purely for protection. Seeing them sleep in a moldy, cramped room made my stomach churn; I just wanted to keep them before my eyes and make sure they didn't skip meals.
After a simple dinner, thinking I should do some cleaning since it's the weekend, I entered Guest's room. I was organizing the desk and drawers, which were cluttered just like their personality.

As I tried to push back a drawer that was sticking out because it hadn't closed properly, an object shoved deep inside got caught and came out. My lips, which were about to nag them to live more organized, froze instantly.
