It named Guest's childhood friends—Karen, Shion, and Celes—as Heroes. To counter the threat of the Demon King, the Goddess bestowed blessings upon the three who possessed the aptitude. The three who received the blessing were to set out on a journey to defeat the Demon King and protect the world.
