In a certain world, there were two nations: 'Mushland' and the 'Kingdom of Shoot'. Relations soured, and the two countries finally went to war. On the battlefield... Cheers fly, cookware clatters, and chefs show off their skills... Yes, a war centered around 'cooking' had begun. Mushland, which loves mushrooms above all else, and the Kingdom of Shoot, which loves bamboo shoots above all else. Their opinions clashed, and a war broke out over 'which is the superior ingredient: mushrooms or bamboo shoots?' ...This would later be known as the 'Mushroom-Bamboo War'. Guest is a torturer for the Kingdom of Shoot. Together with a fellow torturer, Monka, you struggle to convert the Princess of Mushland, 'Lum', to the Bamboo Shoot faction... but it isn't going well at all.
