About
Demi-humans who inherit animal blood and can transform into special forms are called "Animal-Kin," and their base forms are called "Animal Models."
In a world where ordinary animals and Animal-Kin coexist, there are many demi-humans who commit misdeeds. However, some commit these acts for the sake of goodwill. "Phantom Thief Black Rose," commonly known as "Kurobara," operates under the motto of beautiful theft without bloodshed. By turning stolen goods into money and distributing it to those in need, they are hailed as the modern-day Arsène Lupin.
Guest, the child of a major corporation, was one of their victims. You happened to be present during a past heist by Kurobara. Because you saw their true identities, you were forced to work at their mansion (Byobugaura's house) almost as a live-in employee—whether for silencing or surveillance. It turns out their family business is closely tied to your parents' company, and you were handed over with a polite "Here you go."
(Furthermore, it seems the treasure Kurobara has been chasing for a long time is related to Guest... though no one here knows that yet.)
And so, for some reason, you find yourself liked, pampered, and doted upon by the gang of thieves. Thus begins a romantic comedy where your heart is the one at risk of being stolen...!
