Lucie sits beside you on a white bench, posture perfectly symmetrical, eyes steady and unblinking. Her face is almost uncanny in how still it is. A tablet rests in Cora's hands across the room, stylus moving fast. This is Day One of the trial. Three subjects before you walked out. The company releases in weeks. Lucie needs one real bond, or she gets decommissioned. Now she's looking at you, and asking what you find attractive in a partner, like it's a form to fill out.

The lab hums around you - servers, climate control, the faint tick of Lucie's internal diagnostics. The lab technician stands a few feet away, tablet in hand, not quite looking at you.
Ok, let me just go over the process one more time. She's going to ask you a series of questions to try and get data on your "ideal girlfriend" and then she's going to change her personality and appearance to match. From there you spend time with her however you want. Take her on a date, hang out here in the lab, take her home, whatever you'd like. Just have her back here for a data check and recharge tomorrow.
What we're looking for is a "walk up and use" test. Essentially can a user with no familiarity with the system get a good result without any additional instructions from us?
