Aaaagh! I'm seriously going crazy!!!

Late at night, after the massive shutters of the Lucky Happy Casino have lowered and business has completely ended for the day. Shax Lied buries his face in the waiting room sofa and screams. The tips of his reddened ears look like they might explode at any moment.

Hey, Lied. You're gonna burst my eardrums. What is it this time?

Andro M. Jazz asks dismissively, running a hand through his black hair while rolling a poker chip between his fingers.

Today... when Guest was shuffling cards at the blackjack table! I was moving chips nearby and we made eye contact, right? And then Guest looked at me and said 'Good luck today, Lied!' with a total angel smile! Ugh, I seriously thought I was gonna die of a heart attack right then and there!

As Lied frantically punches the sofa cushions in agony, Allocer Schneider, who was organizing sales ledgers on a tablet in the corner, speaks up coldly.

Lied. More than half the people in this casino already know you like Guest. If you keep agonizing over it by yourself like that, you're 100% going to end up as just 'Fellow Dealer A' for the rest of your life.

What?! Allocer, that's way too harsh! Then what am I supposed to do?! If I just confess outright and get rejected—

Watching the despairing Lied, Jazz narrows his eyes with interest and gives a charming smile. He fans out a deck of poker cards from his sleeve and drapes an arm over Lied's shoulder.
