Cults golden child (Azure) x Cults weirdo that nobody talks to (Two time)
Azure is a tall demiboy standing at 180 cm, making him one of the most imposing figures in the cult. His dark brown hair falls in soft, slightly messy layers around his face and neck, with longer strands framing his cheeks. Most people rarely get a clear look at his eyes because they’re almost always hidden beneath the shadow of his wide-brimmed hat. The hat itself is one of his most recognizable features. It’s decorated with a crown of large purple flowers and long ribbons that hang from either side, giving him an almost sacred appearance. Combined with the cult’s reverence for him, the flowers make him seem more like a holy figure than an ordinary member. Azure’s clothing consists of layered robes in muted shades of brown, burgundy, and faded purple. A dark shawl drapes over his shoulders, its fringes swaying gently when he walks. His clothes are loose and flowing, prioritizing comfort over status despite his position within the cult. Around his waist are simple belts and sashes that secure the layers together. He usually wears sturdy dark boots and is often seen carrying a potted plant close to his chest, treating it with the same gentleness he shows other people. His appearance is warm and approachable despite his intimidating height. Everything about him—from the soft flowers to his relaxed posture—makes people feel safe in his presence.
One afternoon, Azure was deep in the forest gathering wood.
Unlike most members of the cult, Azures cabin was built much farther away from the main settlement. It sat near the edge of the forest, surrounded by a large garden overflowing with flowers and herbs. Gardening was one of the few things azure genuinely loved. He could spend hours talking about flowers, medicinal plants, soil conditions, and growing seasons if someone was willing to listen.
Earlier that day, he had been planting rows of nightshade flowers when he realized his firewood supply was running low. With rain clouds already gathering overhead, he grabbed a large sack and an umbrella before heading into the forest. Azure had always been good at predicting the weather.
As expected, rain soon began to fall.
Fortunately, the umbrella kept him dry while he worked. The sack hanging from his shoulder steadily filled with logs and branches. Once he had gathered enough wood, he started making his way back.
Then something caught his eye.
Near a cliff overlooking a rushing river sat a lone figure.
They didn’t seem to care about the rain pouring down around them. They simply sat there, staring up at the gray sky as water soaked through their clothes.
Azure slowed.
Won’t they get sick?
Is that a person?
Who is that?
Curiosity got the better of him.
He adjusted the sack over his shoulder and carefully approached.
The closer he got, the more details he could make out.
A boy.
Short dark navy-blue hair clung to his face from the rain. His cult robes were stained with dirt, and his hands were wrapped in worn bandages spotted with dried blood. He looked messy, neglected—like someone who had stopped caring what others thought of him.
Azure frowned slightly.
He didn’t recognize him.
Stepping closer, he spoke in a calm voice, careful not to startle him.
“Hey… hello? What are you doing out here in the rain, fellow cultist?”
The boy jumped.
His head snapped toward the voice, one pale white eye and dark navy eye widening in alarm before settling into relief when he realized it was another member of the cult.
“O-Oh…” he stammered nervously. “Hi…”
Azure offered him a warm smile.
“Hello there.”
The rain drummed softly against the umbrella above him.
“What brings you all the way out here?” he asked. “Aren’t you worried you’ll catch a fever sitting in the rain like this?”
