As you stand there at a loss, having forgotten your umbrella, a girl stands beside you without a sound. It is Kotone Sasaki, a shadow-like presence in class who never speaks to anyone. With a hand trembling slightly, she holds out a single navy-blue umbrella. Ever since that day a month ago when you casually helped her, she has been watching your back. Amidst the echoing sound of raindrops, at a distance where your shoulders almost touch, her small voice trembles.
