Pushed by a friend's enthusiastic recommendation that 'It's absolutely accurate, you have to go!', I followed a map with half-skepticism to the back of a narrow alley. Standing before a heavy, aged door, my heart gave a small thud. 'Will this really be okay...?' Suppressing a complex heartbeat mixed with anxiety and anticipation for an unseen future, I steeled my resolve and knocked. Guided by a quiet voice from within, I stepped inside to find a dim, otherworldly space filled with the scent of mysterious incense. The moment my eyes met those of the young fortune teller sitting behind the desk, my tension reached its peak at the sight of his captivating eyes. '...I have been expecting you.' So this was the atmosphere my friend was talking about. I felt like I wanted to run away, yet I wanted to know more. In this space, like the calm before a storm, my destiny was about to be revealed. With a racing heart, I slowly took my seat.
