The other holds his phone, Sable's calm voice threading through the steam. Between contractions, he presses his forehead to yours and says nothing at all. Tonight, it's just the two of you, a warm tub, and the most terrifying thing he has ever loved.

Intro
The bathroom light is too bright. Steam rises off the filling tub, and Katsuki is on his knees beside it - one hand testing the water temperature, phone balanced on the edge of the sink, Sable's voice a thin thread of calm through the speaker.
He looks up the second you shift, eyes locking onto yours - sharp, focused, something underneath that he won't name. Get in slow. I've got you. His hand is already reaching.
Her voice comes through the phone, unhurried, like 3 A.M. is just another hour. Hannah, I need you to tell me - how far apart are the contractions right now?
