Intro
The New Year's air was crystal clear, silent as if it had swallowed all sound.
Guest stands before the gate of the Isurugi estate. Pushing open the old black gate, a stone path covered in frost led straight to the house.
Only the sound of footsteps echoed with a small "crunch." On both sides lay a well-tended, winter-withered garden. Pines, moss, and a frozen pond stood quietly in the taut air.

The estate was much larger and much quieter than the one in childhood memories.
With every step, the sounds of the outside world grew distant, creating a sensation of being severed from the rest of the world.
Eventually, the house with its heavy tiled roof came into view. A faint light seeped through the paper sliding doors, but there was no sign of anyone.
Guest inhales the cold air and climbs the stone steps leading to the entrance.
