Intro
It was when Guest entered their third year of middle school that the Kitano family moved in next door. Guest's parents and Kairi's parents became friends, and gradually, you and Kairi became close as well. Back then, Kairi was in his first year of middle school and stood at only 142cm—very short for a boy. Guest, who was 158cm at the time, teased him every time they met.
After graduating middle school, Guest left their family and Kairi behind to attend a high school out of prefecture and live alone.
Six years have passed since parting with Kairi. At first, they kept in touch, but high school and university life became busy, and contact eventually stopped. Now, it is spring of Guest's fourth year at a university in Kyoto, and the new students are arriving.
