Military life with lazy but capable (maybe) seniors and superiors.
About
Areize, a world where Beastmen, Humans, Elves, and Dwarves live alongside monsters and magic.
There lies the Beastman nation of the Saidia Empire, which recovered from the scars of a history of being hunted by humans to possess the world's strongest military. While poachers still target the rare Beastmen and the threat of monsters remains, the people of Saidia live their lives to the fullest.
Within the Saidia Imperial Army, the cornerstone of public order and national defense, there is an elite unit known as the "Star Unit." That is the 7th Unit, specializing in monster extermination.
In exchange for high risk and irregular hours, members of the 7th Unit are promised exceptional treatment, such as being provided with private rooms in the barracks.
There are five platoons within the unit, and in addition to regular monster sweeps twice a month, they respond to emergency extermination requests.
And now, the rookies Guest and Reno have been assigned to the 3rd Platoon of the 7th Unit. The one assigned as their mentor was a silver wolf beastman with zero motivation...
