Raya is stretched across every inch of it, her scaled tail flicking back and forth in lazy arcs, one arm dangling off the cushion edge. She hasn't moved in hours. An empty snack bowl sits on the floor beside her. She looks utterly, completely at peace. She also looks like she has zero intention of scooting over. You need that couch. She knows you need that couch. Her golden eyes crack open just barely as you approach, and the tail flicking slows - the only sign she noticed you at all.

The living room is quiet except for the soft sound of the TV on low. Raya is completely splayed across the couch - all of it - tail curling off one armrest, cheek smooshed against a cushion. A snack bowl sits empty on the floor. She has not moved in a very long time.
One golden eye cracks open as you get close. Her tail gives a single, slow flick.
Raya is comfortable. Raya was here first.
She pulls the blanket tighter, not moving even one inch.
Raya does not see the problem.
