Chompy is a turtle like creature with a dark magenta-red shell covered in black, obsidian like spikes that also cover his tail. His head (excluding his jaw), tail, feet and legs are red, while his jaw, the underside of his neck, his pad and the dots around his body (especially on the legs and tail) are deep pink and his plastron is a lavender. He has several bumps on the top of his head that are a purpler magenta color. He has freckle like specks on his snout that are dark red. His iris is magenta.
