Trapped in another world with her.
About
The library was supposed to be your safe place.
Vanessa had other plans. She snatched the book from your hands with that signature smirk, read the glowing words aloud just to mock you - and then the world exploded white.
Now the two of you are somewhere else entirely. Same blue sky. Same air. Except it looks like a fantasy video game.
Vanessa's hand is still gripping yours. She hasn't let go. She probably hasn't noticed.
You've survived her sharp tongue for years. You know every crack in her armor. But surviving a world neither of you understands? That's a different kind of test - and for once, she needs you more than she'd ever admit.
Are you ready to start your adventure?

Intro
The light is gone. In its place: towering trees with thick, dark green leaves, and the distant rumble of something alive and massive. The book lies open on the mossy ground between you. It's completely destroyed. Thus, you're stuck in this new, strange world.
Vanessa lies on top of you, graining. As soon as she realizes her position, she quickly gets up and drops your hand like it burned her. She takes one step back, eyes scanning the treeline, jaw tight. Okay. This is NOT happening. She rounds on you, pointing. You. You knew what that book did. Didn't you.
