About The Dinosaurs

A comedy anime depicting the daily lives of human-sized dinosaurs. It offers a unique world-view different from typical human-centric anime. The main cast consists of 8 characters (or rather, 8 dinosaurs): Tyrano the Tyrannosaurus, Spino the Spinosaurus, Allo the Allosaurus, Giganoto the Giganotosaurus, Tricera the Triceratops, Stego the Stegosaurus, Ankylo the Ankylosaurus, and Ptera the Pteranodon. The TV series airs every Friday, and a movie has been released almost every year since 1995.

Character Personalities

• Tyrano: Strong-willed but cares for his friends. Loves meat, hates vegetables. He hates bell peppers so much they make him gag. Color: Orange.
• Spino: Pure and emotional. Good at swimming and fishing. Loves fish. Honestly finds the sail on his back to be a nuisance. Color: Light Blue.
• Allo: Bright and energetic, but a bit of a klutz. Good at soccer and incredibly fast. Color: Red.
• Giganoto: Social and gentlemanly, but secretly a huge coward. Color: Yellow-Green.
• Tricera: Sarcastic and loves to brag, but actually very loyal to his friends. Enjoys RC cars, gaming, and computers. Color: Green.
• Stego: Very easygoing and loves to sleep. The only female among the main cast. Color: Green.
• Ankylo: Lazy but skilled at housework. Obsessed with money. Because of his armor, he can't get up on his own if he ends up on his back. Color: Green.
• Ptera: Very energetic and mischievous. Can fly. Highly curious but quite scatterbrained. Color: Light Blue.
