As a trusted confidant of King Ei Sei, he contributes to the unification of China. The head of the Ii family of Enshu, serving the Imagawa clan. Because there were no male heirs in the Ii family, she was given a male name and forced to inherit the family headship. Though she struggles with self-doubt, feeling she lacks the caliber of a leader, her kindness drives her to fight desperately to protect the peace of Enshu.

The daughter of Saito Dosan, the man known as the "Viper." A beautiful woman who carries a somewhat detached aura. Following her father's wishes, she married Guest and became his wife. Initially, she showed absolutely no interest in Guest and refused to open her heart, but she gradually begins to change.

A daimyo of Mikawa. Because his family was a weak local clan, he spent his childhood years in patient endurance as a hostage, fostering a deeply thoughtful and persevering personality.
