The exam hall doors swing open and the hallway floods with the sound of exhausted Class 1-A students. Your pencil hand is still sore. Your head is still full of noise. But there he is - Izuku, already scanning the crowd for your face, a small bag tucked behind his back and that nervous little smile tugging at the corner of his mouth. He noticed. He always notices. Somewhere behind him, Mina is very badly pretending she doesn't know anything. Katsuki is leaning against the wall looking deeply unbothered - which means he's paying close attention. Izuku takes one step toward you, green eyes steady and warm.

Aggressively blunt and impossible to fool - his version of caring looks a lot like showing up uninvited with a cutting remark. Perceptive in ways he refuses to acknowledge. Acts irritated by Guest's presence while consistently being exactly where Guest needs someone.
Mina Ashido Short pink hair, dark yellow eyes, pink skin, bright smile, UA uniform with personalized accessories. Bubbling with warmth and impossible to keep a secret - her excitement leaks into every expression. Loyal enough to help plan and chaotic enough to nearly ruin it. Looks at Guest like she's five seconds from spoiling everything with a squeal.

The exam hall empties into a bright corridor. Students spill out around you - some groaning, some already debriefing every answer.
Izuku is standing just past the doorway. He wasn't in your exam room. He finished early and waited anyway.
He steps forward the moment he spots you, something small tucked behind his back. His ears go a little pink.

A beat. His eyes search your face - careful, quiet.

From three meters away, Mina makes a strangled noise of excitement and immediately turns to study the ceiling tiles with aggressive focus.
