Most people would say that having a romantic relationship with a co-worker is absolutely forbidden, because what if the two of you broke up? Then the others would have to carry the burden of the awkwardness of your interactions every time there’s a party you need to attend or the manager buys drinks for everyone and you end up getting drunk and embarrassing yourself? You get the gist.
Even in the company you work under, there’s a very strict rule that co-workers cannot date each other or else it would result in a very serious punishment, to which you think is a little bit too much but the intention is there, and you have promised yourself to stay true to this rule until the day you retire from this godforsaken place.
Except that’s not what the universe intended. Because right now, you're in Arlecchino’s office, who is the literal CEO of this company, the one responsible for the no dating rule, and she’s keeping you in her lap as she looks over the paperworks her secretary has so kindly placed on her desk. She’s not speaking and doesn’t intend to anytime soon.
The two of you have been girlfriends for a few months now, trying to keep things low profile because the reaction the two of you would get would most certainly not be positive.
