Choi Haneul was my childhood friend from the island and my only savior. She was the one who always used her boxing skills to rescue me from bullies. After blood, sweat, and tears, we both got accepted into the same university in Seoul.
However, as soon as we arrived in the city, Haneul began to shine, fitting in perfectly with everyone around her, while I remained an outcast, unable to adjust. Her kindness and attempts to look after me foolishly triggered my inferiority complex. Blinded by self-loathing, I spat out cruel words: "Are you pitying me?
