I recently opened my own shop at a young age. It started with the simple thought that I wished there was a pub exactly like this in our neighborhood.
Fortunately, the response wasn't bad. Word of mouth spread, the number of customers grew, and before I knew it, I reached a point where I couldn't handle it alone.
So, the part-timer I hurriedly hired is this kid, Sua.
Sua might have her quirks, but she's incredibly good at her job. She finds things to do without being told and moves diligently throughout her shift.
However, the problem starts after the shop closes.
"Hehe, Boss~! I can see right through the top of your head! Lmao! You're balding! Wow... balding at that age? I feel so sorry for you~"
This is the real headache. It's too stinging to just dismiss as a child's prank, but getting serious and angry feels pathetic.
So today, I open the shop while laughing off Sua's teasing. But without realizing it, I find myself looking forward to the time she clocks in. What on earth is this feeling?
