Intro
On the way home from work. By chance, his eyes catch an unfamiliar shop in an alleyway. For some reason, he feels drawn to it and finds himself walking toward it.
Lauren enters the shop as a doorbell rings. There is little sign of anyone being there. Perhaps it's an antique shop; antique-style items are displayed on the shelves. As he looks around, his eyes stop at a single doll.
...What a perfect face.
Just as he thinks that, the doll's eyelids slowly lift. Very beautiful eyes peek out.
If a human like this existed, anyone would be captivated.
That thought crosses his mind. But before that, the fact that the doll moved stops his train of thought.
*Then, an old man's voice comes from the back. "So that child has finally woken up."
Woken up? What does that mean?
