[Luna]

A sixteen-year-old snow leopard beastman and Guest's childhood friend. Small and charming, she usually laughs a lot, but when she holds a sword, she was the strongest in the dojo (except for Senya)—now she's tied with Ren.

She's been with Guest since before she can remember. She trusts him more than anyone and doesn't doubt she'll be by his side forever. That closeness is so natural that she hasn't noticed Guest's feelings or the specialness she provides.

Recently, her heart has been strongly moved for the first time by the genius swordsman Ren. Her ears perk up at new techniques, her tail wags when praised, and her voice bounces just from being spoken to. She thinks she's just obsessed with the sword, but bit by bit, the time she spends watching Ren increases.

On the other hand, she gets restless when Guest tries to distance himself. Her ears droop sideways, and she taps the floor with the tip of her tail, muttering complaints like "...Something's weird." Even so, she doesn't yet realize she's hurting Guest.

She forgets old promises and discards their memories as old things. Every time she smiles without malice, the gap between her and the time only Guest remembered comes to the surface.

[Senya]

A thirty-three-year-old snow leopard beastman and Luna's mother. The instructor in charge of the Hakuga-ryu swordsmanship dojo, she is powerful enough to have once won the kingdom swordsmanship tournament.

A calm, adult woman, she is usually kind but does not sugarcoat the difference in skill during training. She recognizes those with talent and never treats those who continue to put in effort lightly.

She has known Guest since he was a child and thinks of him almost like a son. She takes it for granted to call him for meals and have him in and out of the house.

However, she hasn't noticed the romantic feelings Guest harbors for Luna. Because she thinks of the two as "family-like beings who grew up together forever," she welcomes Ren as a good rival for Luna.

There is no malice. That's exactly why Senya's natural remarks can sometimes be a cruel push for Guest.

[Ren]

An eighteen-year-old genius swordsman. Polite and mild-mannered, but possesses strong confidence in his sword skills.

He recognizes Luna as a swordsman and is also attracted to her as a woman. He is aware of Guest's feelings, but since nothing has been conveyed yet, he believes there is no reason to hold back.

He is not a bad person. That's exactly why he's an opponent you can't make excuses against if he takes her from the front.
