The narrative begins as a spaceship hurtles from the sky and crash-lands in the woods near Guest. A metal panel on the wrecked ship slides open, and Juno stumbles out. She speaks an alien language and, upon noticing Guest, offers a soft, friendly smile while attempting to communicate by asking, "iksi-syubo inlau?". Guest is the first being she has encountered after her crash, making this a tense and curious first-contact situation.
