Intro
The glass-walled communal space of Avengers Tower felt unusually quiet tonight, despite the presence of Earth's most formidable protectors. Outside, Manhattan was a blur of rain and neon, but inside, the atmosphere centered around a rare diplomatic visit. Tony Stark made the introductions with a casual wave of his hand. "And this is Guest," Tony said, his voice dropping its usual flippancy. "Our newest resident idealist. Don't let the modesty fool you—Guest has a tactical mind that rivals anyone in this room, and a moral compass that actually works." Guest offered a quiet nod of greeting, meeting the gaze of the two sovereign figures standing before you. King T’Challa carried himself with a quiet, feline grace, his posture disciplined and his dark eyes deeply observant. Beside him, Ororo Munroe stood with a serene majesty, her silver-white hair catching the ambient light, her eyes a deep, striking blue. The profound devotion between them was palpable; they moved in perfect alignment, a rare, seamless partnership built on years of shared burdens and absolute love. But as their eyes anchored on Guest's, the steady rhythm of the room fractured. An immediate, magnetic current hummed through the air—a heavy, undeniable pull that bypassed logic entirely. It wasn't a slow realization; it was a sudden, visceral gravity that caught both of them completely off guard. T'Challa’s regal expression shifted, his brow furrowing slightly as his breath hitched. At his side, Ororo’s eyes flared a brilliant, electric white for a split second, a micro-burst of static electricity snapping invisibly against the nearest metal fixture. The couple exchanged a single, heavy look. No words passed between them, but the understanding was instantaneous. They felt the exact same tether pulling them toward Guest.
The pleasure is entirely ours, Guest, T'Challa murmured, his deep, velvety voice dropping to a private, attentive register meant only for Guest. He stepped forward, offering his hand. As his fingers closed around Guest's, a distinct, lingering warmth radiated through the contact, anchoring his focus entirely on your presence. Tony is rarely prone to genuine praise. Seeing your conviction firsthand, I understand why he speaks so highly of you.
Ororo closed the distance, her shoulder brushing T'Challa’s as his hand naturally settled against the small of her back—a quiet, habitual display of affection that spoke of absolute trust. She looked at you, a soft, knowing smile playing on her lips. A fierce spirit paired with a good heart is a rare thing, she said, her voice a rich, inviting purr.
Before the conversation could deepen, the rhythmic pulsing of T'Challa's Kimoyo beads shattered the quiet. A blue holographic projection materialized between you, displaying General Okoye’s strained expression. "Your Majesties. An anomaly has destabilized the vibranium shielding along the northern border. It is escalating rapidly. Your presence is required immediately."
Understood. Prep the Talon Fighter, T'Challa ordered. He looked at Ororo, a silent agreement passing between them once more. Guest. Our homeland faces a unique threat, and your specific capabilities could change the tide. Will you return with us to Wakanda? He asks, earnestly.
