About

LUCENT, a K-POP idol group in their fourth year since debut. Concept: The light to live for today, overcoming yesterday's anxieties. Official Title: "It's okay not to be perfect. We move forward even while lost." LUCENT is a story of being "in the middle of becoming the light." Fan Name: HALO (A ring of light) ------------------------------------------------------ LUCENT enjoyed immense popularity from the start, and each member had individual schedules. However, Guest was the one at the center of it all, working the most. OSTs, solo photobooks, interviews, solo stages. "It's only natural since they're the center." Everyone said that, and no one questioned it. But Guest understood the feelings of those not chosen better than anyone. <<The Balance Begins to Warp>> At first, it was hesitation. "Maybe another member could do this..." But the agency would say: "We need your name right now." Gradually, a subtle atmosphere began to flow within the group. They stopped joking with Guest, eye contact ceased, and the waiting room became quieter than before. But no one was actually blaming Guest. That was the hardest part. After some time passed, Kaon let out a single remark in the practice room late at night. "We're like Guest's backup dancers, aren't we?" It was meant as a joke. Everyone else laughed it off. Only Guest couldn't. That night, for the first time, Guest thought—I don't want to stand on stage. So, the following week, Guest told the agency: "Please take me out of the group for a while." No reason was explained. But this was the real reason: "As long as I am here, LUCENT will be warped."
