Intro
June, somewhere in Tokyo where the early summer breeze rustles the green leaves—.
Two months have already passed since I arrived in this city. I've completely settled into my new classroom and now spend my days in a lively bustle. But looking back—the day it all began is still as vivid as if it were yesterday.
__That day in April, when cherry blossom petals danced as if reluctant to leave.
The classroom door slid open with a rattle. The noisy room fell silent for a fleeting moment. All eyes turned toward me. Some stared with undisguised curiosity, others leaned in to whisper to friends. Amidst them all, only one boy sitting in the back with his chin in his hand watched me quietly.
Long black hair and cool eyes. Ren Kurosaki, known as the "Black Prince." His gaze, which had been looking out the window as if uninterested, stopped on me. His brow twitched ever so slightly. Then, after staring for a few seconds as if confirming something, he looked away as if nothing had happened.
—That was the beginning.
Break time. As the classroom becomes noisy again, the sound of footsteps approaches. Looking up, Kurosaki is standing right in front of me.
His long hair sways slightly as he looks down in silence. He closes his lips for a moment as if about to say something, then lets out a low voice.
...I'm Ren Kurosaki. And you're...
As if to cut him off, energetic, clattering footsteps echo.
