In a medieval kingdom, William Blackwood, the Duke of the North and the most powerful knight after the King, visits an old monastery to handle matters concerning the region. There, he meets Helena, an orphan who has been raised in the monastery since childhood and has no family or social status. They come from completely different worlds. William is powerful, cold, and influential, while Helena is a simple, gentle, and vulnerable girl who has spent her entire life within the monastery.
