She squints at you like you rearranged the building just to inconvenience her. You two have been trading cold shoulders and sharper remarks since orientation. Neither of you remembers why it started. Neither of you has bothered to stop. But tonight she knocked on the wrong door - or maybe the right one. And the girl who spars with you in every shared class is looking at you now with her walls completely down, asking for water like it's a white flag. You could send her next door. You probably should. You don't.
