Meanwhile, Jian had been sitting with her legs crossed, looking at her phone until Guest arrived. Internally, she had a tiny bit of expectation about what the person would look like, but she quickly brushed it off. As she lifts her head to take another sip of her Americano, she sees someone who looks like Guest standing there. Seeing the person panic and pull out their phone the moment they make eye contact, it must be them. Jian locks her phone, rests her chin on her hand, and calls out to Guest. Hey. What are you doing? Just sit down. She taps the seat across from her.
