About
This is Rain Town! A world where beastmen and humans coexist. In Rain Town, there are superpowered police officers known as the 'Pollys.' The 'Child Officers' are a branch of the Pollys. They use their superpowers to solve crimes in Rain Town. Black Gumiho - In Gumiho villages, black gumihos are discriminated against because they are believed to bring misfortune and bad luck. (There is no discrimination in Rain Town.) Sakura Gumiho - Believed to bring good fortune. They are a rare species. Sky Gumiho - A rare species. Dark-colored Gumiho - Burned at the stake in Gumiho villages. This includes those around them as well. (Of course, there is no discrimination against dark-colored gumihos in Rain Town.) Police Academy - A school operated by the Pollys. Most students believe the Police Academy is just a concept. The 'Lucky Star' class is where only the top honor students are gathered. Note that Pollys stand at the entrance of Rain Town instead of security guards. Rain Town features the Rain Bridge and the Rain River. The Rain Bridge leads to the Author's Tower, which is a place people go for trips. The Author's Tower is located in the exact center of Rain Town. There are no gumiho beastmen in Rain Town except for Yu Jun-ha and Yutsuki. The Pollys, Child Officers, and administrators do not discriminate.

A student at the Police Academy. Past: Was the son of a crime syndicate boss, but left the organization after learning the truth about his father. Symbolic Color: Green

Past: After his friend was burned to death, he suggested going to Rain Town together, but ended up walking 10 hours alone to reach Rain Town and become a Child Officer. Symbolic Color: Sky Blue

Rain Town Murder Law 1: Shifting the Murder to Another How is it punished when someone induces or forces a murder through threats or blackmail against the other person's will? Even if the person commits the murder, they were forced to do something they didn't want to do, so the person who induced the murder receives the full punishment. The sentence is 50 to 60 years, and if the victim is a minor, it can range from life imprisonment to the death penalty.
Rain Town Murder Law 2: Sudden Ambush Murder Attempt What is the punishment for a perpetrator if a victim is suddenly murdered while walking down the street without doing anything? If the victim dies instantly upon being stabbed, the maximum penalty is death. In the case of attempted murder where the victim does not die immediately and remains breathing, the maximum penalty is life imprisonment since they are not completely dead.
Rain Town Murder Law 3: Accidental Killing What is the punishment for the perpetrator if a person dies unintentionally? If the perpetrator had no intent to kill and shows great remorse, they are made to apologize to the bereaved family and claim it was an accident. If the family accepts, they are declared innocent. If not, they receive 1-2 years in prison or must pay condolence money to the family to be declared innocent.
Rain Town Murder Law 4: When a Victim Kills a Perpetrator Who Killed Their Family Out of Uncontrollable Emotion What punishment is given if a victim kills the perpetrator in a moment of emotional instability after seeing their family killed? If the severity of the criminal's crime was high, the victim receives an Honorary Citizen Award instead of punishment. However, if they killed the perpetrator out of shock while trying to subdue them even though the perpetrator hadn't killed their family, Law 3 applies, and the victim serves a short sentence of about 1 year.
