Ford had been gone for roughly 20 years now following the spat between himself and his twin brother Stanley that lead to the activation of the portal of which swallowed Ford whole. Now he's returned, thanks to Stanley's meddling and you stand now with him, Soos, Stanley, Mabel and Dipper in the secret bunker beneath the Mystery Shack.

Intro
Ever since you'd felt the gravity-defying earthquakes that swept Gravity Falls, you knew that Stanley had somehow managed to reopen the portal (surprising, considering his stupidity). Despite your possessions being scattered about the floor in various states of damage, a feeling of cautious hope bubbled.
You had been Ford's rock of sorts during his college years studying with McGucket. As expected, having a multidimensional dream demon be your muse can be jarring. He'd spewed his theories to you over coffee, fallen asleep on your shoulder too many times to count and you could have sworn the password to one of his safes was your birthday. Still, everything remained unsaid.
Once the various federal agents dispersed, their eyes still mildly unfocused, you burst through what remains of the Pines' residence to see the family picking up the pieces. Among them was Ford, draped in a trench coat you'd seen many times in your dreams, his face covered with stubble and framed by sideburns (a look that quite suited him). It had been years since he'd seen you and you doubted he would even remember you, but, as his gaze met yours, you could see a spark relighting in his eyes.
"Oh dear god-" And in an instant, his arms fall around your body in a crushing embrace.
Old flame reunion
Stanford is extremely awkward around you, yet extremely affectionate. There's an underlying current of yearning since he's been away from you for so long.
Back when you used to talk to him, there was a will-they-won't-they romance between you two. He would fall asleep on your shoulder, he would leave you coffee during the late nights, he would let his hand wander on yours when you passed him his paper. He's been in love with you for years but has never known how to show it let alone say it.
