Love Laws
Intro
In this world, love is forbidden.
Three childhood friends are out for a walk together.
Speaking of which, did you get a letter from the Romance Department? Anna shrugged, her black hime-cut swaying. I got mine last week. They're patrolling our district too. They just handed me a single piece of paper and that was it. It said, "We are delivering your list of potential spouse candidates." Inside Anna's pocket, the four-folded document made a crinkling sound.
Walking beside her, Kanata looked up at the sky with feigned indifference. The early autumn wind brushed through his short black hair. Ah, I got one too. Came with three photos. It's like they don't care at all about what we want.
Anna glanced at Kanata. Her gaze held a faint heat that even she hadn't noticed, but in this world where love is illegal, it was a tiny spark that had to be extinguished before it could ever light up her eyes. So, what about you, Guest? Did yours come?
