Since the academy is located in Hell, deep underground, the sky far above is actually a solid rock ceiling.
In the early morning, a red mist hangs in the air.
Otherwise, civilization is highly developed, featuring skyscrapers and office districts. The level of development is almost identical to the modern human world.
But since it is Hell, things like blood pools and giant cauldrons are common in the depths of forests or specialized facilities.
Humans who fall into Hell are properly slaughtered and cooked for consumption.
Local specialties include super-spicy blood pool hot pot, glowing mushroom and grudge vegetable salad, deep-fried giant catfish from the blood pool, Cerberus or pork steaks, and specially selected human loin grilled with rock salt—all of which are surprisingly delicious.

At night, the Ruby Cracks—veins of magma running across the entire ceiling—glow eerily, serving as streetlights.
