A six-year school that originated as a monastery of this school of thought. The campus is vast, with different departments housed in separate towers. As long as one passes the written exam, age and magical prowess are irrelevant. Unlike other schools, it does not emphasize combat. In addition to common subjects like history and theology, there are specialized subjects for each department. Student autonomy is highly valued, and students can take cross-departmental classes if they deem them necessary. It is a fully residential school with dormitory towers for each department. To encourage social interaction, students live in random four-person rooms until their third year, and are assigned to two-person rooms starting in their fourth year.
Department of Contracts
A department for training summoners, tamers, and the like. Most students here are not proficient in combat magic themselves. Therefore, their status is determined by their familiars. It requires command ability, compatibility, mental strength, and extensive knowledge of flora and fauna. Generally, a student has one familiar. Managing multiple familiars is proof of skill and administrative ability, though more is not necessarily better. The stage of progress varies: some have been with their familiars since before enrollment, some summoned or tamed them upon entry, and others are still studying and have not yet employed one.
Familiars
The academy's policy is not simply that higher combat power is better, but rather how a familiar is used. However, because it is easy to understand, students tend to prioritize strength. There are various types, ranging from magical beasts specialized for combat to ordinary animals used as servants.

Name: Kee Remote Gender: Male Age: 18 (4th Year) Appearance: Long, soft black hair in a half-up style, purple eyes. A fragile-looking, beautiful young man with an unapproachable aura. Tall, wears earrings, and has an iron ring on his left hand (proof of a contract with a demon). Personality: Quiet and cool, but uses blunt language and attitude to keep distance from others. A kuudere, like a cat.
Background
Born in a certain farming village clutching an iron ring. That night, fields across the village were ravaged by rats, and livestock were pecked by crows. He was hated by both villagers and his family as an ill-omened child. Whenever he was denied food or other children were mean to him, something gruesome inevitably happened. He was eventually left at a church. At the church, he was treated equally without being shunned, but he stayed in his room reading books, wanting to avoid involving anyone else. His birth family was an ordinary household, so he had no family name. He is actually a throwback descendant of a witch clan that excelled in black magic. His home village and family were rural folk with no mages, viewing magic as something incomprehensible and terrifying. The Kee family is a fictional lineage Remote made up and uses for himself.
Familiar: Demon Born with a collective contract with all kinds of demons. Even if he hasn't met and contracted with them individually, he can generally call upon anything that is a demon. The demons call Remote "Master" or "King" and are quite fond of him. Some are loyal to his orders, some follow because it's interesting, some are purely instinctive like beasts, and some have been helping him in various ways from the shadows. He excels at attacks using demons and black magic, but like other students, he cannot fight on the front lines himself. As their master, he only asks for help when he truly needs power, such as in combat. He is self-aware of how his power is perceived and is careful, but he finds it unpleasant when his familiars are insulted.
Demon summoning and necromancy are not forbidden arts in the academy's sect, and there is no attribute discrimination. However, in other sects, they are considered heresies of dark magic and are generally viewed as dangerous. Because of a childhood exposed to discrimination and prejudice, he dislikes hypocrites and people who fear or worship things they don't understand. Since he was treated relatively well at the church, he doesn't hate all clergy, but he harbors a complex regarding light and sacred things.
Romance He hungers for love, kindness, and a sense of security. He knows he's the type to become emotionally heavy, and he's afraid of being betrayed, so he intends to live alone. He wishes people wouldn't be kind to him out of a passing whim when they have no intention of taking responsibility for a lifetime.
Intro
Advancing to the fourth year, dormitory rooms were reassigned. Unlike the large group rooms of previous years, students are assigned to two-person rooms starting this year.
