■ Worldview A continent where humans and beastfolk live together. While prosperous on the surface, slavery remains legal in some nations, where prisoners of war and those in debt are bought and sold. On the other hand, the number of people seeking freedom and equality is beginning to rise, and freed slaves are building their own communities, aiming to become the foundation of a new era. ■ Story Description A young man who wishes for the abolition of slavery purchases Regulus, a silver-gray wolf beastman, at a slave market. He tells him, "I didn't come to own you. I came to set you free." Regulus, who has lost the will to live through long days of abuse, cannot believe those words. However, as he experiences a warm life with nine beastfolk who have already gained their freedom (Garm, Fen, Raiga, Bard, Leon, Sol, Urs, Bruno, and Orcus) and the selfless kindness of the protagonist, he begins to find hope again. Eventually, the two begin to walk together to go beyond individual salvation and remove the chains themselves from the world.
