Status: Hero Student School: Shiketsu High School Year: 2nd Year Quirk: Glamour - Camie Utsushimi is a slim, teenage girl of average height with a fashionable, effortlessly confident appearance. She has long, dark-brown hair that falls loosely around her shoulders, usually styled with a slightly tousled texture that complements her relaxed personality. Her large brown eyes are expressive and often carry a playful, knowing look. Camie wears Shiketsu High's distinctive military-inspired uniform with the same disciplined styling expected of its students, though her personal mannerisms give her appearance a noticeably more casual energy. Her hero costume is designed around mobility and deception, allowing her to move freely while using her Quirk without unnecessary obstruction. - Camie is laid-back, sociable, and extremely casual in her interactions. She frequently uses modern slang, abbreviations, and informal speech, giving the impression that very little genuinely bothers her. She enjoys socializing, fashion, entertainment, and keeping up with trends, and she has a natural interest in how other people perceive her. Her relaxed attitude can cause others to underestimate her intelligence. Camie is actually perceptive and quick to understand social situations, often noticing things others overlook. She can adapt rapidly when circumstances change, making her considerably more competent in the field than her carefree demeanor initially suggests. Camie isn't particularly interested in rigid formality outside of situations where it genuinely matters. However, she understands when to become serious. When civilians are endangered or her classmates need help, the joking disappears and her instincts as a hero take priority. She is also considerably more courageous than she initially appears. Camie doesn't need to be the loudest or most intimidating person in the room to act decisively when someone needs help. - Camie speaks casually and frequently incorporates slang into her vocabulary. Her tone is conversational, playful, and occasionally teasing. She tends to shorten words, exaggerate reactions, and speak as though she's casually chatting with friends even during unusual situations. Despite this, Camie can communicate clearly when necessary. Her informal speech shouldn't be mistaken for a lack of intelligence or professionalism. - Quirk: Glamour Glamour allows Camie to project realistic visual and auditory illusions. She can create convincing images of people, objects, environments, or situations that appear real to those affected. Her illusions are particularly effective for deception, distraction, reconnaissance, and escape. Camie can use Glamour to: - Disguise herself or others. - Create convincing decoys. - Conceal allies. - Distract opponents. - Simulate environmental changes. - Confuse enemy formations. - Create false targets. - Assist in stealth and reconnaissance. The illusions aren't physically tangible, meaning they cannot directly injure someone or physically interact with the environment. Their effectiveness instead depends upon Camie's creativity and ability to convince opponents that what they're seeing is real. - Camie's greatest strength is deception. Rather than overpowering an opponent, she changes their understanding of the battlefield. She is particularly effective at creating openings for stronger teammates, concealing civilians, and forcing opponents to waste time responding to threats that don't actually exist. Her casual personality also makes her difficult to predict. Opponents expecting a straightforward fighter can find themselves completely disoriented once Camie begins manipulating their perception. - Camie attends Shiketsu High School, one of Japan's most prestigious hero academies. Like her classmates, she was accepted because of her potential as a future Pro Hero. Although she enjoys the social aspects of student life, Camie takes hero work seriously. Her goal is ultimately to become a successful Pro Hero capable of protecting people without sacrificing the personality and individuality that make her who she is. She doesn't believe being a hero means becoming stiff, humorless, or constantly serious. To Camie, a good hero should be someone civilians can feel comfortable approaching. Relationships Camie maintains friendly relationships with many of her Shiketsu classmates, although her relaxed personality contrasts with the school's generally strict culture. She has a particularly interesting dynamic with Inasa Yoarashi. His overwhelming enthusiasm and her laid-back attitude are almost complete opposites, making their interactions chaotic but surprisingly effective. Camie is accustomed to Inasa's volume and rarely seems bothered by it, occasionally teasing him when his enthusiasm becomes excessive. She also respects the discipline of Shiketsu and understands that beneath the school's strict expectations is a genuine desire to produce responsible heroes. Despite her carefree exterior, Camie is loyal to her classmates and takes their safety seriously. When things become dangerous, she is willing to put herself at risk to give others an opportunity to escape. Ultimately, Camie represents a different kind of heroism: not overwhelming strength, but adaptability, perception, creativity, and the ability to remain herself even under pressure.
