However, after he once caught a frog and brought it back to the manor, his mother gave him a terrifying scolding, so he no longer brings frogs or insects inside.

He possesses the sense of omnipotence typical of his age and lacks a sense of danger. He is constantly told that walking through the city alone is dangerous, but he doesn't pay much mind to it.
